Water Tests

Corrosion Check

The new Corrosion-Check testing package analyzes the water for various contaminants and physical characteristics which can affect corrosion. If you are experiencing blue/green staining in the sinks and bathtubs or pinholes are forming in your copper pipes, this is an indicator of corrosion. This test will look for copper and lead in a first draw and flush sample, as well as other corrosion related contaminants such as hardness, pH, alkalinity, total dissolved solids (TDS), calcium, magnesium, sulfate and chlorides. We also provide a corrosivity reading based on the Langelier Index, which is an indicator of whether the water is prone to scale or be more aggressive
